I spend most of my time at home working and parenting - Full Time. The great thing is, I get to watch my kids grow and they get to watch me workout!
But for a while I was LOST (alright, I got a bit fat and lazy!)
Even after a decade of working in gyms and training consistently, none of it mattered when I wasn't actually in the gym, amidst the gym culture.
So I had to ask myself, what is Fitness if it only applies to gym members and athletes? How do we create culture without being surrounded by sweaty bodies and loud music?
At first, I had to workout from home. Now, I prefer it!
It starts with developing Healthy Habits. This is how we can create 'family culture'. Without this, your consistency depends on your wife's mood... (jokes!) but really, you do have to set standards for yourself first, then you can build from there.

You work all day to put food on the table and by the time you get home you're exhausted, but the little monkeys don't care. They just want daddy. You give your last ounce of energy to be present with them until they go to bed. Finally, a moment to breathe. You pop a lazy beer, chuck something on the tele, and unwind. You go sleep around midnight, wake up just in time to leave for work, and repeat, until you're completely burnt out stuck in a cycle.
